Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and an English Toy Spaniel
Several years ago, when I decided to purchase my first Cavalier, I thought I would just call a breeder, pay for the puppy and live happily ever after. Well, that was not the case. I spoke with a lot of Cavalier breeders who said they would sell me a puppy but at an inflated price and on a Co-Ownership. I just could not bring myself to enter into a co-ownership contract with someone that I did not even know. If they wanted to raise the puppy, why didn't they just keep it? I felt like, if I paid a fair price for the puppy then I should own it outright. Boy was I wrong. I did also find the attitude with some Cavalier breeders that if they did not breed it, it wa junk. I really don't understand this way of thinking. I think that this attitude has led people that are determined to breed Cavaliers, to breed "junk" because they were unable to purchase a good quality puppy. With persistence and a good bit of money, I was able to obtain a few quality Cavaliers. I vowed that I would never be like some Cavalier breeders that I had tried to deal with. I am very proud to offer exceptional quality Cavalier puppies to family homes. We have show quality puppies to offer. I do health testing, certify hearts and offer a guarantee on all puppies sold. All of our puppies are sold on a contract but it is a contract that protects the dog and the new owner. I do understand that some breeders have spent many years perfecting their bloodline. If it were not for them the AKC standard would be lost. Thank you for preserving the breed. I am always very honest with my puppy people and I expect the same in return. I have known breeders in the past to alter their puppies and dogs pictures. That is fraud and is very unfair to the family that chooses a puppy from an altered photo. Often families are forced to choose a puppy from a photo because they do not live close enough to visit the puppy in their home. My photos are always natural. Our puppies are born and raised in a baby bed in our master bedroom. Needless to say, we don't get a lot of rest the first few weeks but we are there, in case they need us. They stay in our home until they go to their new homes. They are never kenneled, I don't have a kennel. We do go out for an occasional play day when the weather is nice. I will not sell to puppy mills or brokers and I do have a questionnaire for potential owners. I do offer an exceptional quality Cavalier at a very reasonable price. I did not put this information on my website to offend Cavalier breeders, these are my thoughts and I wrote this to let people know that it is possible to obtain a quality, health tested Cavalier from a reputable breeder. If you are interested in adding one of our puppies to your family, send me an e-mail.

Welcome to Queen's Court Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. We raise exceptional quality Cavaliers and offer them to loving families. We had raised English Mastiff's and Great Danes for well over a decade. We love the giant breeds but due to our own natural aging process we knew we had to find a smaller companion that was right for us. We tried several little dogs and were just about to give up when we discovered the Cavalier. These little dogs are so wonderful. They look at you with total adoration and never leave your side. They get along well with cats, small children as well as adults They are incredibly smart and sweet natured. Who say's money can't buy love?

Last summer we suddenly and tragically lost our beloved Becky. I, along with her daughters, have pledged to continue her pursuit of breeding the finest Cavaliers possible. She lived every minute of her too short life in pursuit of this goal along with taking care of her children with every ounce of her strength.
